Well my vision for my self is not to exciting. After I graduate college I will probably find a regular job 9-6 somewhere with my degree in not exactly sure what I want to major in. After 2 or 3 years of saving up money from that job I want to buy my own business. Like maybe a partnership with my brother.
I was thinking of like a bowling place or maybe a pool place. If my business goes well then I will expand and buy further stores and stuff. If my business fails then I will go back to my orginal job. So if you look at it my college degree is acully just a back up plan.

I had simliar thoughts like this cause I figured it was the most realistic. I feel nowadays for a lot of people that a college degree is a back up plan. Depending on your goal, it complements what you want to do.
don't look at your vision as not exciting =/ if you don't think it's exciting why pursue it?
your idea seems exciting to me! that's a very adventerous plan and hopefully it all works out for you and your brother!
Hii SatinderPal, I think its a very mature way to look at life. Its nice that you are comsidering your baruch degree as a Back-up Plan but you should be thinking positive towards life. You never know where life can take you; May be you are next Warren Buffet. Just keep your hopes and dreams up and work hard. Good Luck!!!
Hey I think its great that you have goals and vision that go beyond just getting a college degree. Many of us don't know what kind of job they want to do after they graduate so I think it's totally normal that you don'e either, but at least you have some kind of an idea what your interested in as far as investments and business. After all we are in a business school so I'd say just wait till you get so many more ideas that you want know which to choose ;) hehe
